IoT Channel Partner Programme

If you supply, install or maintain equipment, you already have something most technology companies spend years trying to acquire: customers who trust you with their sites. Our channel partner programme lets you offer those customers real-time remote monitoring under your own brand, without building any of the technology yourself. We design and manufacture the hardware, write the firmware, and run the cloud platform. You take it to market as your own monitoring service, configured around your equipment and your clients' needs, with a recurring revenue line attached to every site you already serve.

The principle behind it is simple. Most equipment indicates locally. A panel shows a fault, a contact trips, a threshold is crossed, and unless someone happens to be standing in front of it, nobody knows. Our tags transmit those state changes over a one-way, low-power radio link to a dashboard your clients can see in real time. When you offer that capability under your brand, every installed system you have in the field becomes a monitored system, and every client conversation about it starts with you.

Build vs resell

The third option between building and reselling

Equipment providers who decide to add monitoring to their offer usually see two routes. The first is to build a platform: hire embedded and cloud engineers, design hardware, get it certified, and maintain all of it for the life of the product. That is a multi-year commitment before the first client sees a dashboard. The second is to resell somebody's off-the-shelf product, which is quick but leaves you selling the same thing as everyone else, on margins the platform owner controls, with your brand nowhere in sight.

The partner programme is the third option. The platform already exists, it is proven in the field on live client estates, and it wears your brand rather than ours. You get the differentiation of a bespoke build without the engineering payroll, and you keep the client relationship entirely. For your customers, the monitoring is simply a natural extension of the equipment and service they already buy from you.

01

Partnership structure

How the partnership works

The structure is deliberately straightforward. We supply and support you; you supply and support your clients. Your clients deal with the company they already know, and the platform behind the service is our responsibility, from the tags on the equipment to the servers behind the dashboard.

Within that structure, the configuration is shaped to your operation. Alarms and thresholds are set up per client around their specific equipment and their specific definition of an event that matters. Dashboards carry your branding. How far the configuration goes is a conversation rather than a tick-box list, because partners differ: some want a straightforward branded dashboard their own team manages on behalf of clients, while others want individual client-level access, which we can scope as part of a larger platform build. There is no standard package, because the whole point of the programme is that the service looks and behaves like yours.

02

Scope

Where it fits

The honest answer to "what can it monitor?" is anything with a discernible state of change that currently happens silently. If a piece of equipment does something significant and the only evidence is a local indicator, a tripped contact or a needle on a gauge, it can be brought onto a dashboard. In practice, partners and their clients use the platform for events such as:

Suppression and protection systems that deploy or change state with nobody present to see it. Tanks reaching a fill or empty threshold. Temperature and humidity moving outside the range a process or a product can tolerate. Plant and machinery raising a fault output that would otherwise wait for the next site visit to be noticed. Water appearing where it should not be. Movement or vibration on structures that are supposed to stay still.

If your equipment or your service touches any category of event like these, the programme fits. The hardware is small, battery-powered for years of service, and installed without cabling or changes to the equipment it monitors. It listens to what the equipment already indicates and reports it; it does not control the equipment or send anything back to it.

A note on fire and life-safety: our monitoring operates on a best-endeavours basis and is complementary to certified fire and life-safety systems. It does not detect fire, smoke or heat, and it is not a substitute for a certificated alarm signalling path. What it does is tell you and your clients, in real time, that protection equipment has changed state.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the IoT Technologies channel partner programme?

It is a partnership under which equipment and service providers offer real-time remote monitoring to their own clients under their own brand. IoT Technologies designs, manufactures and operates the full stack: the battery-powered monitoring tags, the one-way radio telemetry, and the cloud dashboard. The partner sells, installs and supports the service as their own.

Is this a white label monitoring platform?

In effect, yes: your clients see your brand, not ours. We tend not to describe it as white label because that suggests a fixed product with a logo swapped on top. The programme is configured around each partner's equipment, clients and alarm requirements, which is why we describe it as your own branded monitoring platform rather than a white label one.

Who supports the end clients?

You do, and we support you. Your clients keep their relationship with the company they already trust, and you have direct access to the people who built the platform whenever you need engineering support behind the scenes.

What can be configured for each partner?

Branding, dashboards, and the alarms and thresholds for each client's equipment are all configured per partner and per client. Deeper capability, such as individual client-level logins, can be scoped as part of a larger platform build if the partnership calls for it.

Our clients' alarm auto-diallers rely on phone lines that are being switched off. Can this replace them?

For equipment alarms, in many cases yes. The UK's analogue phone network is being retired, and equipment that dials out over those lines will stop signalling. Our tags monitor the same alarm outputs and deliver the event to a real-time dashboard over radio telemetry instead, with no phone line, no SIM per point, and battery power measured in years. For certificated fire and intruder signalling to alarm receiving centres, a certificated path is still required; we complement those systems rather than replace them.

Does the monitoring send anything back to the equipment?

No. The system is one-way telemetry only. Tags transmit state changes from the equipment to the platform; nothing is sent to the equipment and nothing about its operation is altered.

Every partnership in the programme is shaped individually,
because every partner's equipment, clients and ambitions are different.

If you are weighing up whether to build a platform, resell one, or offer something that is genuinely yours, the conversation costs nothing. Tell us what your equipment indicates today and who needs to know about it, and we will show you what it looks like on a dashboard wearing your brand.
