Full-cycle IoT capabilities built for field operations
Embedded hardware, RF connectivity, secure data platforms and analytics delivered as one engineering stack.
Behind the solutions and industry applications sits a single engineering capability: we design our own hardware, write our own firmware, engineer our own radio layer, manufacture in the UK and operate the data platform the devices report into. Nothing on this page is resold or white-labelled. That ownership of the full stack is what lets us take on deployments where off-the-shelf products fail — hostile RF conditions, multi-year battery budgets, sites with no infrastructure — and it is why the services below range from deploying our standard range to developing entirely new connected products.
For most clients the engagement starts with an operational problem and ends with a working deployment: survey, hardware selection, installation, integration and support as one accountable delivery. For OEMs and product companies, the same engineering team is available as a development capability — taking a product idea or an existing analogue device through embedded design, RF integration and manufacture to a connected product in the field.
RF site surveys
On-site spectrum analysis and test-tag measurement, producing a report that states gateway count, tag count and tag types before anything is installed.
Embedded & RF engineering
Hardware selection, embedded firmware, RF design and integration for deployments that need uptime, not prototypes.
Bespoke IoT delivery
End-to-end delivery: sensing, gateways, integration and deployment, built around your operational outcome and constraints.
Secure data platforms
UK-resident, security-first data pipelines and platforms that turn signals into governed, auditable operational data.
Predictive analytics
Telemetry-driven insight and alerting to detect issues earlier, reduce downtime, and support measurable operational decisions.
Manufacturing
UK design and manufacture of our own low-power monitoring hardware — owned from scratch and built to last in the field.
IoT product development
Design and build of your own IoT product, end to end and under your brand — owned by you, built in the UK.
Channel partner programme
Offer remote monitoring to your customers under your own brand. IoT Technologies builds and runs the hardware, firmware and cloud platform.
Frequently asked questions
What services does IoT Technologies provide?
Eight connected capabilities delivered by one engineering team: RF site surveys, embedded and RF engineering, bespoke end-to-end IoT delivery, secure data platforms, predictive analytics, UK hardware manufacturing, IoT product development for third parties, and a channel partner programme. They can be engaged individually, but most deliveries draw on several at once.
Do you develop IoT products for other companies?
Yes. We take products from concept or existing analogue design through embedded electronics, firmware, RF integration, enclosure and manufacture to a working connected product. Because we run our own hardware in the field at scale, the development advice is grounded in what survives deployment, not what demonstrates well.
Do you manufacture your own hardware?
Yes. The tag range is designed and manufactured in the UK, owned from schematic to firmware. That matters practically: no dependency on a third-party vendor's roadmap, revisions driven by field experience, and the ability to adapt hardware to a client's specific requirement rather than working around someone else's product.
Is this consultancy or delivery?
Delivery. Advice is part of every engagement — survey, RF assessment, sensor selection — but the output is a working system in the field with data arriving on a dashboard, not a report. One team is accountable from site survey to live operation, which is the practical difference from assembling separate hardware, connectivity and platform suppliers.
How is the data platform secured?
The platform is UK-resident and security-first: encrypted in transit, access-controlled, and designed so each client's estate and data are strictly separated. Telemetry is treated as operational data with an audit trail, built to satisfy the governance review that critical-infrastructure and public-sector clients apply before connecting anything.
What does the channel partner programme offer?
It lets equipment providers, FM companies and system integrators offer monitoring under their own client relationships, backed by our hardware, coverage and platform. Partners bring the client and the application knowledge; we provide the engineering stack, from survey support through hardware supply to the operating platform.
