IoT Technologies works directly with the organisations it monitors.
You deal with the engineers who designed and built the system, not an account tier or a reseller queue. This page explains how that works commercially: how we engage, what is included, and what we will never tie you into.
01
A direct engineering relationship
Every deployment is specified, built and supported by the same team. When you call, you reach people who can change firmware, adjust the platform and answer for the system end to end. There is no tiered support plan and no premium level required to speak to an engineer.
02
A complete system, without the meter running
We supply the whole stack: sensor hardware, firmware, radio network and monitoring platform. Dashboards, alerting and records are part of the system, not chargeable extras. Some platforms in this market meter reporting speed or charge credits for text and voice alerts. We do not. If the system detects an event, it tells you, and the alert costs you nothing.
03
No lock-in, by design
Your data is yours. It is exportable at any time, in usable formats, and we will help you take it with you if you ever leave. We would rather keep clients because the system works than because leaving is painful.
04
Built around your existing equipment
Our sensors retrofit to the assets you already own. We are hardware agnostic on the equipment side and can pick up estates installed by other providers, including orphaned systems whose original vendor has withdrawn. If you have kit in the field that has stopped being supported, that is a conversation we have regularly.
05
Support that stays with you
Monitoring is not a product you buy once. Firmware updates, platform improvements and engineering support are part of the service for as long as the system runs. Support is UK based and handled by the engineering team, not a ticket queue.
The market broadly offers two other models.
Here is how the three compare.

Questions to ask any monitoring provider
Whoever you choose, these questions will tell you quickly what you are really buying:
01
What does an alert cost? Are text and voice notifications metered?
02
What does faster reporting cost? Is reporting frequency tied to a licence tier or credits?
03
Who builds and runs your dashboards, storage and alerting? Is that you or them?
04
Who owns the data, and what happens to it if you leave?
05
Is there an annual per-sensor licence, and what stops working if it lapses?
06
When something fails at 2am, who answers?
We are happy to be measured against every one of these.
